FAQs

Will Insurance Pay for my Chiropractor?

Many insurance companies recognize the value of offering chiropractic coverage to their members. Chiropractic is conservative healthcare that allows individuals to achieve better function, increased movement, and decreased down time – all without the use of drugs and surgery. Insurance companies recognize these advantages and are increasingly finding ways to make chiropractic care more accessible. With this said, it is important to keep in mind that the extent of coverage varies greatly between insurance companies, and even within individual plans or programs. Copay amount, deductibles, and treatment visit limits can be vastly different from one program to the next. For the most accurate and detailed information, it is best to contact your insurance provider directly. You can also contact our office so we may run your eligibility and help you make an informed decision before starting your treatment. If chiropractic care is not covered, we have affordable cash rates available to meet your current healthcare needs. FSA (Flexible Spending Accounts) may be used to cover co-payment expenses.

Can I benefit from Chiropractic care?

People of all ages and backgrounds can benefit from Chiropractic care. The human body is under constant strain from the moment of birth, and becomes aggravated with the stresses that occur during daily life. Chiropractic care can help alleviate and sometimes prevent musculoskeletal problems such as low back pain, neck pain, sciatica, and headaches. It is a safe and effective way to improve your health, function, and overall well being.

What services do you offer?

At Northeastern Chiropractic we pride ourselves on providing personalized care for each individual. We offer a wide array of chiropractic adjustment techniques, from the traditional hands-on joint manipulations to very gentle instrument assisted mobilizations. Interferential current therapy, ultrasound, moist heat, and Kinesio taping are modalities that are sometimes used to decrease local inflammation and discomfort. The treatment of soft tissue is an important focus, and we employ several techniques to help alleviate the discomfort associated with muscles, fascia, tendons, and ligaments that may also affected. Myofascial release, Graston, and PNF stretches are all utilized as needed to help joints achieve normal function and range of motion. Rehabilitation is also emphasized using basic exercise protocols, as well as incorporating techniques such as Whole Body Vibration (using VibePlate technology) and FAKTR-PM (Functional and Kinetic Treatment with Rehabilitation, Provocation and Motion).
